Secondhand Saturday!

Secondhand Saturday - Saturday 3 June - 9am - 1pm

On Saturday 4 March the Harris Community Centre and Mustard Seed revived a tradition from the Ultimo Pyrmont past. Due to the popular demand, we are now doing another! The next ‘Secondhand Saturday’ is scheduled for Saturday June 3rd.

Secondhand Saturday is an opportunity for households to bring and sell their good quality but no longer needed belongings. It is also a great place to pick up a random bargain and discover treasure amongst the stuff someone else considers to be their junk!

CWH was a proud sponsor of new toolkit for community housing providers

The new program, officially launched on International Women's Day, has been developed for community housing providers, to help strengthen approaches to domestic and family violence and older women's homelessness.

We were joined by representatives from NSW Federation of Housing, Domestic Violence NSW, Homelessness NSW and the Older Women's Studio Development project to learn about the new tool.

City West Housing is proud to be partnering with The Star and Bendigo Bank | Pyrmont Community Bank Branch to offer this free, 6 week cricket pilot project for boys and girls aged 10 – 16.

All equipment and afternoon tea provided. Come and join in the fun as well as learning some new skills along the way.

I live at the Platform apartments with my two year old son Arlo. I work as an arts administrator part time, so I'm really happy to be living right next door to Carriageworks, which is one of my favourite exhibition and performance spaces.

I love the inner west. There's a strong sense of community and diversity, and I think the two are connected.
