Kylie currently works in the employment sector helping jobseekers return to the workforce, a job to which she is extremely committed. She goes above and beyond to make sure her clients feel supported and have the resources they need to succeed.
Kylie also regularly volunteers her time to a range of organisations because she is passionate about community access to services. One example is that she facilitates a monthly support group to the improve the wellbeing and mental health of people from the LGBTQAI+ community.
As Sian, the City West Housing resident who nominated Kylie, aptly said, “She does what she does out of a want to help and does not expect anything in return, which is exactly why I think she should be recognised for all her efforts to support her community.”
The Community Impact Awards celebrate City West Housing residents who are making a significant impact on the people around them. It’s part of our ongoing efforts to ensure our residents feel safe and welcomed in their CWH community.
