As Chief Executive Officer, Leonie is in charge of City West Housing and works with the Management team and Board of Directors to meet our purpose – to build stronger communities and improve people’s lives by providing affordable housing. She has over two decades of senior executive experience in the government and non-government sectors. Leonie has specialised in social and affordable housing and disability services in roles such as policy, strategy, program and regulatory design, statutory planning and community and affordable housing industry development. Leonie is currently a Director on the Board of the national industry body, Community Housing Industry Association (CHIA), and is the Vice Chair of CHIA NSW.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
BA (Accounting), CA
As Chief Financial Officer, Michelle is responsible for all financial management, compliance and corporate services for City West Housing, and is our Company Secretary. She has worked nearly two decades in the property industry and over three decades in accounting roles across sectors including property, building materials and recruitment services including six years with a global chartered accounting firm. Michelle has specialised in real estate development and management, corporate finance, strategic planning and acquisitions.
HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT

With over 20 years of end-to-end development experience working for public, private and government developers, Lisa is CWH’s Head of Development, responsible for driving and delivering all phases of City West Housing’s property development from acquisition to construction completion. Lisa has extensive experience across multiple residential sectors including urban renewal, mixed use, community housing, retirement living and the build-to-rent sectors in Australia and the United States.
HEAD OF COMMUNITY AND EXTERNAL ENGAGEMENT

As Head of Community and External Engagement, René is responsible for CWH’s public face, and oversees how we engage with community and how we communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. René has substantial experience in the community housing sector, in particular in community development, and extensive stakeholder engagement experience.

As CWH’s Head of Assets, Ryan makes sure all our buildings are kept in the best condition and meet the needs of our clients. He introduced the strategic asset management plan, standard operating procedures and emergency management plan to CWH. Ryan has more than 15 years of experience in residential construction and facilities management and 10 of those years in the social housing sector.
Mark Reader
HEAD OF HOUSING SERVICES
BA (Social Science), Chartered Institute Housing Prof Qual II, Graduate Sydney Leadership
Mark began working in social housing in the UK in 1986. He has held senior positions in Housing NSW and the Department of Family and Community Services (FACS) having responsibility for the development and implementation of a broad range of community housing programs. Mark has worked at four NSW CHPs having responsibility for tenancy and property management, tenant engagement and access and allocations.
In December 2019 Mark was elected as the NSW representative on the Board of the Australasian Housing Institute.
He is responsible for ensuring City West provides quality services to our applicants and residents including assessing applications, allocating homes and managing tenancies.
Helena provides support to the operational areas of the business as well as managing the CWH office and supporting the CFO with corporate services functions. She has a strong administration background and over 10 years of experience in executive support and office management.
Jenn Crowe

AdvDip, GradCert, PROSCI and PRINCE2 Certifications
Jenn has over 30 years’ experience in community housing within the not-for-profit sector and the NSW State Government. She has qualifications in and a profound understanding of change management and project management, and a proven record in helping organisations deliver the results they aim for.
At CWH, her skills enable her to facilitate, support and guide teams in planning and delivering projects, programs and reforms.
