The Exordium apartments are part of the Green Square Town Centre and site on the former South Sydney Hospital Site.  The site was purchased at a subsidised rate from the City of Sydney. 

Exordium has been created specifically for long-term rental housing with a focus on the residents’ cost of living and amenity, providing:

  • 104 purposely designed build-to-rent apartments with 100% dedicated for affordable housing in perpetuity
  • Apartment mix representative of local demand (50 x 1-bedroom, 45 x 2-bedroom, 9 x 3-bedroom)  
  • Two private accessible external common areas that include a barbecue, community garden, and also free Wi-Fi in common areas.

Exordium Apartments  are located at 50 Hansard Street, Zetland within the Green Square Town Centre within  the City of Sydney Local Government Area.  Adjacent to the apartments are the Matron Ruby Grant park, children’s playground, Joynton Avenue Creative Centre, and the new Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre.

The site’s traditional custodians are the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.
