Completed in 2015, Platform Apartments, Eveleigh offers 88 high-quality affordable rental apartments.

The Platform Apartments are part of the North Eveleigh precinct and are the first stage of the renewal of North Eveleigh.

The land for the project was provided by the NSW government and Urban Growth NSW paid for enabling civil works.

Platform has been created specifically for long-term rental housing with a focus on the residents’ cost of living and amenity, providing:

  • 88 purpose designed build-to-rent apartments with 100% dedicated for affordable housing in perpetuity
  • Apartment mix representative of local demand ( 37 x 1-bedroom,  36 x 2-bedroom,  5 x 3-bedroom, 10 x studios)  
  • Two private, accessible, external common areas that include a barbecue, community garden, and also free Wi-Fi in internal common areas.

Platform Apartments are located at 7 Carriageworks Way, North Eveleigh within the North Eveleigh precinct within the City of Sydney Local Government Area. It is close to Darlington Public School and the University of Sydney.  

The site’s traditional custodians are the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.
