The Chair of the Board of City West Housing Pty Ltd Diana D’Ambra is delighted to announce the appointment of two new Directors to the Board, John Carfi and Wayne Stokes.

John and Wayne’s backgrounds and experience will be invaluable in supporting the Company’s growth agenda”, said Diana.
John Carfi
New City West Housing Director John Carfi, most recently the Chief Executive Officer of property development company Aqualand and having occupied prior roles with both Mirvac and Lend Lease, is excited to join the City West Housing Pty Ltd Board.
John has over 35 years of experience in the Development Industry, having worked his way up from a site engineer to CEO of listed Real Estate Development entities managing over 900 staff nationally and internationally with complete accountability across all disciplines and asset classes.
John has a prior connection to City West Housing, having overseen the development of the residential apartment development at the Tram Sheds in Forest Lodge, which delivered 1,300 apartments and included the restoration of the historic former tram depot on the site. This development included the dedication to the City of Sydney of a parcel of land for affordable housing which is now home to City West Housing’s latest development, a 75 residential apartment complex known as the Ironbark Apartments, which was completed in June 2020.
Wayne Stokes
Wayne Stokes is also excited to be joining the City West Housing family as a new Director on its Board.
“I am very excited to join the Board of City West Housing. At no other time in history has there been such a critical need for affordable housing, including for our key workers whom are working under intense pressure and required to be 150% present and engaged every day”.
Wayne is a seasoned Board Member, Chair (Committee), Senior Vice President and CFO with over twenty years of board level and executive experience across the commercial, private and not for profit sectors.
“Having spent 20+ years in the property and accommodation sectors, both locally and abroad I’m hopeful that I can bring a different and complimentary perspective to the strategic growth of City West Housing and the whole team.”
