Older residents
Australia has a rapidly ageing population and, as a society, we are living longer. Some 22% of current City West Housing residents are aged 65 or above and this percentage is set to grow.
Our new Ageing in Place Strategy aims to help our residents stay in their homes as they age, stay connected with their community, have opportunities to learn and to enhance their wellbeing.
Thank you to the Ageing in Place Working Group for its invaluable input. We have developed a set of actions and measures to implement and monitor progress in delivering the Strategy and will report back regularly on these.
