Our 30 Years

City West Housing is celebrating its 30th birthday in 2024!

On 24 June 1994, the New South Wales Government established a new community housing organisation to provide affordable housing for people on very low-to-moderate incomes in the rapidly changing Pyrmont-Ultimo area. City West Housing was born.

We have provided secure homes and communities for our residents across the City of Sydney that are places of pride and belonging. See the growth in the number of homes City West Housing has built over the past 30 years below. 

We have a lot to celebrate!
