The Harold Park precinct was home to the Harold Park Paceway (1911-2010) and the Rozelle Tram Depot (1904-1960s). The developer of the urban renewal master plan, Mirvac, entered into a voluntary planning agreement with the City of Sydney which required dedication of a parcel of land to the City of Sydney for affordable housing to enable greater diversity of residents and housing. CWH won the tender to purchase this land from the City of Sydney. 

Ironbark Apartments is the final stage of the Harold Park precinct redevelopment. The development exhibits design excellence in response to its context through scale, built form and materiality, while also providing a high quality, robust architectural design fit-for-purpose for affordable housing that complements Harold Park and the broader neighbourhood.
