Following City West Housing’s purchase of 427 and 429 Princes Highway, Rockdale, City West Housing has now completed the concept design using our approach to design.

In February 2022, City West Housing submitted the development application to Bayside Council, which was on public exhibition for community feedback until 25 March 2022 and is now being assessed by Bayside Council.

Unique features:

  • Purpose designed build-to-rent apartments with minimum 80% dedicated for affordable housing
  • Design from Country approach for the landscape and public domain strategy to provide quality spaces for our residents and the local community.
  • Dedication of a 3m through-site pedestrian link along Waines Crescent to Council to improve pedestrian connectivity within Rockdale.
  • Long-term sustainability initiatives including: solar PV panels, no natural gas, and rainwater harvesting reuse.
  • On-site provision of GoGet carshare spaces for use by the building residents and the greater Rockdale community
