With the holiday season just around the corner, this can be an expensive time for some of us. There may be a temptation to put other expenses ahead of paying your rent. That is why we at CWH notice a spike in rental arrears at the end of the year. We want you to enjoy the holiday season. But this shouldn’t be at the expense of paying your rent on time.
To encourage everyone to keep their rent in advance, we are once again offering residents the chance to win one of three Coles Myer gift cards. There will be 1 x $500 and 2 x $200 up for grabs!
Anyone who wants to go into the draw to win one of these fantastic prizes needs their rent account to be in advance by 11 January 2021. The winner will be randomly selected from a list of eligible residents who will be notified by phone and letter by 31 January 2021.
If you’d like a copy of your rent statement or are having trouble paying your rent, please get in contact with your Housing Manager or, once the Resident Portal goes live you will be able to look up your rent statement yourself. Some people find it helpful to set up a budget to manage their expenses and income. For assistance in setting up a budget, you can also contact a financial counsellor.
