City West Housing – Succession of Chair

After 10 years as a Director of City West Housing, the past 3 1/2 years as Chair of the Board, Mike Rollo has stepped down from the Board, his final day being 30 June 2020. Mike’s successor, Diana D’Ambra, has been a Director on the City West Housing Board for the past 18 months and Deputy Chair since December 2019.
Mr Rollo has seen the Company through significant change during his time on the Board.
“It has been a tremendous privilege to have been associated with City West for these past ten years. The company has grown nearly four times in size over that period, continuing to be a major provider of affordable housing in the City of Sydney. City West is a very different business today compared to 2010, though in its soul, it is still the same valued organisation helping to make a difference to people’s lives.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working with my Board colleagues helping to support the dedicated and hardworking City West team as they have grown the business. For City West it is no means over with more opportunities and ambitious growth targets ahead. For me though after ten years, it is time to move on. Time to make way for fresh ideas and new energy”.
Mr Rollo commented on the significant expertise Ms D’Ambra brings to the role of Chair, both as a longstanding Director on commercial and for purpose Boards and with her extensive financial and commercial background.

Leonie King, CEO of City West Housing, has expressed her appreciation to Mr Rollo for his services to the Company as a Director and more recently Chair, and for the support he has provided to her during her time as CEO.
