Given the ongoing COVID-19 situation in NSW, below is a reminder / further update on City West Housing’s response to the extended lockdown.
Our office is currently closed, and all staff are working remotely. You can contact your Housing Manager directly or reach out to us on 8584 7500 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to get in touch. Residents will be advised once our offices reopen.
We ask that all residents follow the COVID-19 restrictions that have been implemented by the NSW Government, especially regarding no visitors and masks to be worn in common areas.
All home visits have been cancelled and will be rescheduled once the COVID-19 situation is under control and it is safe for us to do so.
Following the NSW Government’s announcement on further restrictions over the weekend, contractors will only be undertaking urgent maintenance, as well as cleaning and pest control in common areas.
All contractors have a COVID safe plan in place and CWH will be introducing QR codes (for contractors and non-residents only) when properties are visited to assist NSW Health with contact tracing in the event that this is needed.
Access to Property
We ask that residents are extra careful when leaving their homes and ensuring that they have their access keys. Given that staff are working from home, we do not have the capacity to let residents into their properties. Locksmiths would need to be arranged, which would be at the cost of the resident.
While we hope it doesn’t come to this, CWH has a plan in place should there need to be a lockdown of any of our buildings.
If any residents have had their income affected due to these lockdowns, please contact your Housing Manager as soon as possible to arrange a rent review.
For those who are utilising the free WIFI offered in our buildings, CWH has temporarily removed the time limit restrictions as well as the megabyte limit for the duration of lockdown to allow more access for our residents.
Multicultural NSW YouTube channel
- A number of videos have been developed featuring health professionals and community and religious leaders urging communities to stay at home. These have been recorded in a number of different languages as well as English, with more videos currently being finalised.
- Multicultural NSW have incorporated all of these videos onto their YouTube channel.
Please see the link to view all the Multicultural videos
We thank you for your patience and hope we can see you all soon.
