2017 UPTOWN FESTIVAL
UPtown Festival: Our Stories is a celebration of the Ultimo and Pyrmont community and their stories, music, dance, food, art and culture. The festival ran for 31 years until 2012, and this year the Pyrmont Ultimo Network of Services (PUNS) is excited to be bringing it back. It will be held on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 from 11am-5pm.
The festival will have two stages for performances from a variety of talented artists. This includes local choirs and bands, Aboriginal performances, a Flamenco performance, a DJ, and bands on the main stage, as well as performances for children on the kid’s stage. The festival will have over 35 stalls for food, shopping and more.
As part of the festival theme Our Stories, we’re inviting members of the Ultimo Pyrmont community to be a part of an exciting project. We are launching Humans of Ultimo Pyrmont, which will showcase the diverse faces and stories of our community. We want to hear from you!
