Last year City West Housing launched an exciting new initiative to support young residents to stay in high school. We believe all children and young people deserve the support they need to achieve a good education.

Residents who are parents or primary caregivers of young people currently in Years 7-10 were able to apply for funding to support their child’s education, including for extracurricular activities in sport and the arts.

Aspire Education Fund grants of up to $1,000 (GST inclusive) were awarded to each successful applicant.

The following were the successful Aspire Education Fund recipients in 2024:

  • Alisara – for maths tutoring
  • Arthur – for school uniforms
  • Bruce – for sports fees and supplies
