Northern Sydney Institute horticulture director Kate Low worked with residents to help them plant seeds.

Mother-of-one Joanne Simpson said the community garden had brought many benefits to the residents.

“It’s a beautiful space and everyone is really enjoying it,” Ms Simpson said.
