City West Housing has launched the Our Impact 2023 report, measuring our environmental, social and governance (ESG) impact as a developer and manager of affordable housing with heart.
Highlights of Our Impact 2023 include:
- The significant gains we have made in installing and giving residents access to rooftop solar energy, with 50% of our buildings and 31.4% of all households now accessing solar electricity credits.
- How we are sustainably managing resources in the demolition of building sites, such as that for Boronia Apartments in Waterloo.
- Our investment in lighting safety to make buildings feel safer and more accessible to residents.
- The Aspire Education Fund, which is investing in young residents’ futures in ways that are already creating positive change in their lives.
