City West Housing is part of the consortium selected by the NSW Government to undertake the renewal of the Waterloo South Estate.
With Stockland as lead developer, the consortium also includes Link Wentworth Housing and Birribee Housing.
The project will deliver approximately 3,000 brand new homes in Waterloo South, with at least 50% delivered as social and affordable housing.
Subject to planning, this will be comprised of 1,000 new social homes, over 600 affordable homes, and 1,500 private market homes.
City West Housing will focus on affordable housing and will also support Homes NSW with tenant relocations into nearby homes.
Link Wentworth Housing is the Lead CHP and will focus on social housing.
Birribee Housing will manage both social and affordable housing, specialising in Aboriginal Housing.
Construction is expected to commence in 2027.
